All Hunger Mountain Co-op member-owners are invited to attend our Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 1, from 5pm to 8pm, at the Montpelier City Hall Arts Center.

The Annual Meeting marks the culmination of the democratic process by which our member-owners elect their representatives, the Co-op’s Council. It’s also an opportunity for member-owners to hear news and updates about Hunger Mountain Co-op, participate in group discussions where their questions about the Co-op can be answered, enjoy a meal provided by the Co-op, win raffle prizes and mingle with their fellow member-owners and the Co-op’s staff.

This year’s Annual Meeting agenda includes:
4:30pm – Doors open
5–6pm – Community dinner catered by Hunger Mountain Co-op
6:00pm – Welcome, agenda, review & approval of 2017 minutes. 2017 Annual Meeting minutes can be found here. Copies will also be available at the Annual Meeting.
6:15pm – Guest speaker: Philip Ackerman-Leist, Professor of Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems, Green Mountain College.
One Small Town’s Big Picture: Universal Lessons for Collaborative Visions and Cooperative Ventures from the Italian Alps
7:00pm – Reports from the council president, treasurer, and Co-op general manager
7:15pm – Community comments and Q&A session
7:45pm – Closing and selection of raffle winners. Must be present to win.
Dinner, provided by our prepared foods department, will feature a variety of Mexican-style selections, including items for alternative diets. It’s taco night at the Annual Meeting! Attendees will also receive a ticket good for one alcoholic beverage (one ticket per person
