A: Thank you for your input! This product was the slowest seller in the line and was discontinued to make room for better selling items. I feel that bringing them back for two months will only be confusing or frustrating for customer when it goes away again. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer

A: Glad you enjoy them, we make them as time and product allows. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: To be more vegan friendly you should not charge an extra dollar for vegan pesto or avocado when one does not get cheese on their sandwich. After all getting extra cheese costs the same amount.
A: The cost of pesto and avocado is significantly more than that of cheese, thus the charge for it. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: Do you still sell chick pea saag? If so, thank you.
A: We do on our curry menu which is in a bi-weekly rotation. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager

A: Lazy Lady was certified organic but not anymore, still practices organic. Check the following and websites for more – Vermont Shepard, Shelburne Farms, Twig Farm, Jasper Hill Farm, Cobb Hill Cheese, Sage Farm Goat Dairy. -Bibi, Cheese Buyer

A: Very cool. Patrick’s costume was inspired, glad it helped. -Kari, General Manager
Q: Some years ago, you had a “reference library” of the good ol’ veggie cookbooks to refer to when shopping. How about doing it again. Thanks.
A: Good memory. It’s been awhile since we had that service. I think interest probably dwindled with prevalence of smart phones. I will ask around and see if there is general interest in new books. -Kari, General Manager
Q: Get rid of parking for those with kids – no need! Kids are a choice, old age isn’t. You should not get parking based on your choices in life – what’s next?
A: The primary reason for allocating space to families with small children is safety to my mind. It’s a busy parking lot and we want to keep the kids close to the building and crosswalks. -Kari, General Manager
Q: Suggestion – give an incentive for people to bring their own produce/bulk item bags and containers.
A: Interesting idea. We feel as though there is already incentive in doing something good for the environment by bringing reusable bags / containers. We do, however, donate $.05/ to the Food Pantry when a reusable shopping bag is used. Also, please check out the new bio bags in bulk, we are pretty excited to try out this plastic alternative! -The Green Team
Q: Take down dead trees over parking lot before someone gets hurt! I told you about it 6 months ago!
A: We are working on it. We first have to determine which VT Agency has jurisdiction over them before taking the step of removing them. Thanks for your suggestion. -Mary, Facilities Manager
Q: It would be a great thing to get a stool in the second bathroom so little ones can wash their hands. Thank you. A: I am sure we can make that happen, thank you for the suggestion. -Mary, Facilities Manager
