Customer Question: Can you get the large bottles of Synergy kombucha guava flavor?
Co-op Answer: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, the smaller bottle of Guava is one of our slower sellers, so we are unlikely to bring in the larger bottle at this time. You may special order it by cases of 6 and receive a special order discount. -Olivia, Groccery Buyer

Q: Checked my receipt – “while supplies last” sale price was not applied to my order (I got Santa Cruz Apricot Applesauce). How many budget-conscious customers are paying wrong price! We are very busy, too! (Most people don’t check receipts).
A: Thank you for your input! I am so sorry about this and I appreciate you letting me know about this error. We currently have several systems in place to make sure all old sale tags are pulled down when they have run out, but clearly there is more work to be done. I will pass this information along to our grocery management team. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: The new bread shelves are at an angle that is too extreme. The sliced bread is getting crushed – see La Panciata shelves. Please adjust the shelves so that they don’t ruin the product!
A: Thank you for your input! We are currently compiling all feedback about the new reset and will make necessary changes once we feel like we have a complete picture of the pros and cons of the shelves, layout, etc. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Could you please bring back Newman’s Ginger O’s cookies. Thank you.
A: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, these were discontinued from our warehouse/distributor so we are no longer able to order this item. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Bring back vanilla soy yogurt! (Or whatever they call it now).
A: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, Stonyfield has stopped producing their soy products, likely due to the volatile nature of soy crops right now (particularly organic and non-GMO). -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Numi Turmeric tea – can you get? Fields of Gold, no licorice.
A: Thank you for your input! We will add this product to our set. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Will the Wildwood coffee creamer come back? Best non-dairy creamer ever. Why was it often out of stock before it disappeared? Dis the company go out of business?
A: Thank you for your input! Wildwood is suffering from an assortment of issues, including a lack of available organic soy crops, a sharp increase in customers switching to plant based diets, and issues with their packaging facility. At this time, they are estimating it will be several months before they are back in stock and they do not have an estimate for consistent stock. We apologize for the inconvenience and will get the product back on the shelf as soon as we can. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Please bring back Tate cookies! I love them!
A: Thank you for your input! We do still have (and regularly carry) the gluten-free chocolate chip and gluten free double chocolate cookies. All other Tate’s cookies are brought in as part of special deals. The good news is we plan to do plenty of those deals and sales this spring and summer. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer

Q: Soda Stream CO2 cartridges! Thanks!
A: Thank you for your input! At this time, I do not believe we can bring this product into our store, as none of our distributors currently carry this item. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: More Kevita Flavors?
A: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, space in our beverage cooler is severely limited, which makes it difficult to expand any of our current lines. If there is a specific flavor you are interest in, please let me know and we will see if we can make room for it or drop a slower seller to make room for it. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Surprised you have products with GMOs!
A: Thank you for you input! Hunger Mountain Co-op worked very hard to support mandatory GMO labeling, but unfortunately, the Federal Government made that impossible to enforce. We also give very strong preference to organic and non-GMO products, as to have those options available. The best way to make sure you are purchasing non-GMO products is to check for Organic or Non-GMO Project certification. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Please continue to carry the NuGo slim bars – I have searched for years for a high protein very low sugar bar, and this is the first one I have found. It’s the only bar I buy, thanks.
A: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, this brand sold very slowly and we could not make room for them in the recent reset. I would recommend trying the Bulletproof Bars as an alternative – only 2 g sugar and 13 g protein. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Oatly! (Oat milk) yum!
A: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, the Oatly brand has been unable to keep up with production demands since their onset. At this time, they have been pulled from our distributors warehouse. We will bring them in as soon as they are back in stock on a regular basis. In the meantime, we will be carrying the So Delicious Oat Milk in refrigerated. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Sprouted tofu by Nayasa.

Q: Would it be possible to stock ferment vegetable juices like sauerkraut juice and beet kvass?
A: Thank you for your input! We have tried a few of these items in our grab and go cooler in the past but were not successful. We are going to try a local option this summer in the fermented foods section. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: What became of the PT Farms ground pork? It was cheap but good – $8.99/lb is pretty steep for ground port that is not organic.
A: Good question. PT Farms didn’t see it as financially feasible to keep delivering to us. We recognize that our current replacements aren’t quite price competitive vis a vis PT. That said, we just started carrying Nimum Ranch ground pork. It is slightly more expensive (50 cents/lb) but they are sustainable husbandry stewards which we feel justifies the slightly higher cost. -Nick, Meat Buyer
Wellness
Q: Could you please carry Jinjur herbal supplement tonics? I currently buy them online but would much prefer a local source. Thanks!
A: Thank you for the suggestion. We are not able to get Jinjur products through our distributors. We offer a number of herbal tonics – the brands include: Grian, Urban Moonshine, Herb Pharm and Samhain. Please let me know if you would like support locating these products. -Laura, Wellness Manager

Q: Would it be possible to get arugula offered in bulk – like the spinach and mesclun often is? We are arugula lovers but struggle to finish a box before it starts to go mushy and end up wasting a lot. Thanks!
A: Unfortunately, arugula is more fragile and also a much slower seller so does not hold up. We used to offer it in bulk at one time but too much was lost. Sorry. -Robert, Produce Manager

Q: Miyoko’s un-lox your “cream cheese” is AMAZING! -Please carry.
A: On its way to our shelves – keep an eye out or ask someone in the Cheese. Dept. -Bibi, Cheese Buyer

Q: House-made Moroccan Chicken Soup = very tasty! Has meat and flavor – too bad other soups are water usually.
A: Thanks! -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: I wish cold cut meats in the grab and go could be sliced medium thick consistently. Every once and a while you start slicing so thin that you can’t make a sandwich except[t with little shreds and strips. Kind of useless. If someone wants thinner or thicker they can ask. -Bistro Ham and Smoked Turkey Guy
A: Thank you for your feedback. We will review this with our deli staff. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager

A: We do still offer this regularly though not daily. Thanks for the feedback. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
General
Q: I’m very concerned that the staff still has to punch in our member #s. Must be very hard on them ergonomically – any relief in sight? Thanks.
A: Our new member cards do scan at the registers. We have been using them for a couple years now. If you would like a new card, please ask at customer service desk. Even though the cards scan, many members choose to tell us the number instead of using their card. We would prefer to scan the cards so the cashier has fewer key strokes and to ensure accuracy. -Sonia, Front End Manager
Q: Since the Co-op closes at 8 pm, it would be considerate of diners to hold off cleaning and putting chairs on the tables until at least 7:50. 7:15 is rude!
A: Thank you for your suggestion. When quiet, the closing cashier usually starts closing one side of the cafe. I will remind them not to start cleaning to early. As well as having the casguer remind the customers that the cafe is open until 9 and are not rushed just they are starting to clean up. -Sonia, Front End Manager
