First Annual Hunger Mountain Co-op Community Award

We are excited to announce our first annual Hunger Mountain Cooperative Community Award. This award will be presented each year at our annual membership meeting, and given to a Hunger Mountain Co-op member-owner, customer, vendor, employee, council member, or any member of the community for special contributions to our cooperative community and the advancement of our mission and Ends Policies.

Award Criteria
The nominee should have an extended period of continued service and involvement in Central Vermont that advances our mission to create and sustain a community of healthy individuals, sustainable local food systems, and thriving cooperative commerce.

The nominee should demonstrate or have demonstrated excellence in collaboration, achievement, leadership, community service, and promotion of our mission and Ends Policies.

Award Guidelines

All Co-op stakeholders are eligible for nomination. The nominee does not have to be a current or past member-owner or staff of Hunger Mountain Co-op.

Nominations will be reviewed and a winner determined by the Co-op Council using the above criteria.
