Customer Question: I came in at 3:30 pm to get a loaf of Red Hen Mad River Grain. There were zero loaves of uncut, which is what I wanted. There were 20 loaves of pre-sliced. It seems like they could do a better job of stocking the correct amounts.
Co-op Answer: Thank you for your input! I will pass this information along to Red Hen to let them know this could be an issue. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Please stock AquaVitea Chaga Kombucha with CBD. There’s only one gas station that stocks it in Montpelier and they keep running out, otherwise I have to go to Burlington!
A: Thank you for your input! Unfortunately, AquaVitea does not source their CBD from Vermont, which is our current policy for all CBD products in our store. We have encouraged them to switch over and will bring it in when they do. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Can you add some vegan flavors to the Cool Haus ice cream stock? I’m not a fan of current vegan options but that brand has great flavors!

Q: Garden of Eatin and Bearitos Chips are better than the other brands. They are thicker and hold up for nachos. You only have Garden of Eatin (or Bearitos?) in the blue chips – but why not carry the yellow and white corn. I was very disappointed when the other brands displaced them.
A: Thank you for your input. This is a wonderful point – I will definitely bring n other flavors of Garden of Eatin as a replacement for the sadly lost Bearitos. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer

A: Since olives are self-serve, the State of VT Department of Taxes deems them part of the salad bar and therefor taxable. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: My daughter got sick on the tofu – looks uncooked. Please toast it or brown it more.
A: Sorry to hear that, though the tofu is a fully cooked product before we even do anything with it. The color comes from us searing the marinade on it to get it crispy and has nothing to do with safe serving temperature or cooked/raw. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: Suggestions for sandwich station: Make it so we can pay while we wait, clearly state where we should stand. They are delicious, just inefficient!

Q: Best Damn fish ever.
A: Word! Which one by the way? -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: Love the hot bar “Chinese” night. Yummy! More often please? Also – your hot coffee tastes burnt. 802 tates much better at Cap Grounds and folks I know (inc. me) avoid getting coffee here because of it. And because your iced coffee is too $$$. Thanks!
A: Thanks for the feedback – we continually tweak our grinds brewers to maximize quality – try again and let me know? -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager
Q: Hot bar can be frustrating for non dairy person. Many beef dishes in your menu and starches have dairy. It seems unnecessary and other choices on bar are not appealing.
A: I am sorry to hear we are not meeting your needs. We try to have choices, some with dairy and some not and try to ensure there is at least one protein without dairy served daily. -Doug, Prepared Foods Manager

A: Yes! We have them in stock in the dental section. -Laura, Wellness Manager
Q: Allow spouse/significant other on one card, one vote but allow a 2-person.
A: I believe what you are suggesting would require a change to the Co-op’s bylaws which require individual membership. There is a committee considering possible changes to the bylaws (which have to be approved by members), so I will share this request with them. -Kari, General Manager
Q: Please consider deliveries for disabled people. Thank you! I am in constant chronic pain.
