2019 Annual Meeting and Voting

The Annual Meeting marks the culmination of the democratic process by which our member-owners elect their representatives, the Co-op’s Council. It’s an opportunity for members to hear news and updates about Hunger Mountain Co-op, participate in group discussions where their questions about the Co-op can be answered, enjoy a meal provided by the Co-op, win raffle prizes, and mingle with their fellow member-owners and the Co-op’s staff.
Hunger Mountain Co-op members are invited to attend and cast their vote at Annual Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 5 pm to 8 pm, in the Montpelier City Hall Arts Center at 39 Main Street.
Members may vote for their 2020 council representatives leading up to Annual Meeting in-store near the customer service desk or online. A voting station will also be available during the Annual Meeting. This year, there are five candidates for five open seats, but it’s still important to vote. The top vote-getters will receive the longest terms. Voting will close at 8 pm on Thursday, Nov. 7, and your elected council members will be announced on Friday, Nov. 8.
