We are now taking orders for fresh, Vermont turkeys and Co-op made pies until Monday, Nov. 18.
There are three ways to place your turkey order: Fill out our online turkey order form, call us at (802) 223-8000, or order in person at the customer service desk. Turkeys will be available for pickup at the turkey table in the center of the store from 8 am to 8 pm starting Sunday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 27. If you need to order more than one turkey, please fill out a separate form for each one.
Not sure what size you need? Here is our recommended serving size per person:
3/4 lb for no leftovers
1 lb for a small amount of leftovers
1 1/2 lbs for hearty eaters or ample leftovers
2 lbs for hearty eaters and leftovers
Our fresh turkeys will be coming from two Vermont farms:
Misty Knoll Farms is a family-owned farm in New Haven, featuring turkeys that are humanely raised and given a vegetarian feed that contains no antibiotics or animal byproducts. They provide their turkeys with room to roam in a natural, stress-free environment and raise their birds with a high level of care at every step.
Misty Knoll Farms turkeys are $3.39/lb for member-owners and $3.89/lb for nonmembers.
Stonewood Farm is a family-owned farm in Orwell, featuring humanely raised turkeys who are given a vegetarian feed containing no antibiotics, hormones or animal byproducts. They have been raising turkeys for more than 30 years and guarantee USDA certified “Humane Care & Handling” of the 34,000 birds they process every year in uncrowded, open-sided barns providing fresh air and natural sunlight.
Stonewood Farm turkeys are $3.09/lb for member-owners and $3.59/lb for nonmembers.
Our Co-op made pies are fresh baked and made-from-scratch using organic and local ingredients. These pies are perfect for your holiday gathering. There are three ways to place your pie order: now until Monday, Nov. 18, fill out our online pie order form, call us at (802) 223-8000, or order in person at the customer service desk or at the deli counter. To guarantee the freshest possible pies, we ask that you specify the day you wish to pick up your order. Orders may be picked up from 8 am to 8 pm on Sunday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 27.
