Q: Sell 7th Generation anti-bacterial cleaning spray. Sell Beyond Burger Frozen – not safe to reheat after Co-op defrosts it.
A: Thank you for your input! We do carry a couple of the Seventh Generation Sprays. Please let me know if there is a specific option you would like. We sell Beyond Burgers fresh because many of our customers like that it is ready to use/cook. We do store back stock in the freezer so you are welcome to ask for a still frozen package. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Since you stopped Carrying Burrough’s Chocolate Bars, it has been difficult to find quality raw chocolate bars. I would greatly appreciate it if you could find a new supplier of those. They are better than many others for energy and health. Thanks!
A: Thank you for your input! We are looking into bringing in a selection on Raaka raw cacao bars for January. If you have any other brands you would like to see, please let me know. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Is there dairy free chocolate?
A: Thank you for your input! Much of our dark chocolate is naturally dairy free, but we also carry the brand Chocolate Hollow, which is made with cashews instead of dairy. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: $4.29 for a can of soup. C’mon now!
A: Thank you for your input! I definitely don’t take price increases lightly. Amy’s went through a fairly significant cost increase this year and we had to raise our price accordingly. We do still have Wolfgang Puck at a lower price point. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Justin’s almond butter with maple syrup is amazing! I have to order it online. Any chance?
A: Thank you for your input! We have been considering expanding this brand for awhile. I will look at adding a selection of options to our nut butter set in January. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Saturday lat afternoon – selection sadly low in some sections! Missing: Dave’s Killer Bread full sized slices (green), Half-Baked Pizza (didn’t see this product at all). I purchased local Manghi’s Bread (I often buy this and Dave’s bread) and American Flatbread, both are also excellent, but missed my favorites!
Are these items in stock (just popular), or are they gone (or in lessor quantities)? Thank you for considering my comments.
A: Thank you for your input! Dave’s Bread and Half Baked Pizza are both still in our store. I appologize these items were out of stock when you were looking for them! -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: I though the Co-op was getting in Fox Hill Keto bread and bagels (and anything else keto please!) – love the Smart Sweets!
A: Thank you for your input! We are still planning to pick up this brand, we were just a little delayed. We should have it on our shelves in late January (as wee take a bit of a break from new items this time of year). -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Please carry Dutch processed cocoa powder organic fair trade.
A: Thank you for your input! I am not currently able to find a Dutch cocoa option from any of our distributors. Our bulk department used to carry this item and it was dropped from our bulk distributor as well. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer
Q: Please bring back the beet sausages! And also the Guernsey butter in the shiny green wrapping! Thank you!
A: I’d love to bring back the beet sausages, it was a pretty unique offering. Alas, however, they stopped making it. -Nick, Meat Buyer
A: Thank you for your input – I think that butter may have been around before my time. If you know the brand I could look into it for you and see why we stopped carrying it. -Olivia, Grocery Buyer

Q: What happened to the Plastic Free Seventh Gen female pads?
A: I posed this question to Seventh Gen and this was their response: “While we do not use plastic for the absorbent core, which is comprised of sustainably sourced, chlorine-free wood fluff pulp. However, we do use polyethylene in the moisture barrier layer and use polypropylene for the seams and adhesive(s). We have not made any recent changes to our formula, though we updated our packaging. We are always transparent about our ingredients and list them right on the packaging. I apologize for any confusion.” Please let me know if you have any further questions. -Laura, Wellness Manger

Q: The graphic design to advertise workshops in the cafe is too small to read and the sign up board is less interesting then it used to be.
A: Thank you for the feedback on our cafe table signs. We will review that for the next round of signs. Due to the time of year and staffing turn over, our workshop program is currently on hold. Our plan is to be up and running again by spring. Thanks! -Stephani, Community Relations Manager
Q: How about something to deal with the stinky smells in the bathrooms?
A: Yes, we have Moso bags in each bathroom but I think it’s time to change them out. -Mary, Facilities Manager
Q: Take better care of indoor plants. They need love.
A: We have recently fertilized all of them, so I believe we are seeing an improvement. Thank you for thinking of them. -Mary, Facilities Manager
Q: Seems like you should have more of the smaller carts. Most people seem to prefer them and the small ones are often all used.
A: It may indeed be time to add more carts. We will do a count and look into it. -Mary, Facilities Manager
