Right now, there are three ways you can get involved and participate along with us in creating and sustaining a dynamic community of healthy individuals, sustainable local food systems, and thriving cooperative commerce.
Apply for a Community Grant
Hunger Mountain Cooperative Community Fund grants provide financial support to businesses, organizations, and initiatives aligned with our mission. Awards range from $100 to $2,500 and priority is given to smaller-scale projects that support local food systems. More information and grant applications are available in-store and online here.
Nominate Someone for a Community Award
The Hunger Mountain Cooperative Community Award will be given to a member-owner, customer, vendor, employee, council member, or community member for their contributions to our cooperative community and the advancement of our mission and Ends Policies. More information and nomination forms can be found in-store and online here.
Run for Council
Council service is critical to our success, and we will have several open seats in this year’s election. If you are interested in becoming a council member, you can read our information guide, attend one of our information sessions, contact a current council member, and take a look at the application, which is due September 8.
