Neighbors Helping Neighbors – Results are in!

We are excited to share that in November and December, our co-op community raised $18,484.25 and collected nearly 1,700 pounds of donated food for the Vermont Foodbank!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in this cooperative effort. A special thank you to our community partners Northfield Savings Bank, Cabot Creamery Cooperative, and Farrell Distributing for their financial support.

Food & Fund Drive

This holiday season, 1 in 3 Vermonters are experiencing food insecurity. Help provide healthy meals for our neighbors by joining the Co-op in collecting food and funds for the Vermont Foodbank and central Vermont food shelves.

Hunger Mountain Co-op and Northfield Savings Bank each donated $2,500 to the Vermont Foodbank. We challenged our Co-op community to raise another $2,500 before December 27. Thanks to our generous members and shoppers, we have reached our community fundraising goal, unlocking matching donations from Hunger Mountain Co-op, Northfield Savings Bank, Farrell Distributing, and Cabot Cooperative Creamery!

With about a week left in our drive, we are roughly $2,000 away from reaching our stretch goal of $20,000 for the Vermont Foodbank, which would create over 33,000 meals for our central Vermont neighbors in need.
