As the leading expert and advocate in healthy aging for central Vermonters, Central Vermont Council on Aging’s (CVCOA) mission is to support central Vermonters to age with dignity and choice. CVCOA respects the wishes of aging persons to age at home, remain healthy, and stay active and connected to the communities they know and love.
CVCOA currently offers about eight different volunteer roles and have a constant need to fill them. For example, more than 125 individuals in central Vermont volunteered at their nutrition sites as Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers in the last fiscal year. Not all roles are located within CVCOA, some are with a client/neighbor, other roles take place in a Senior Center that they partner with.
