As a member-owner at Hunger Mountain Co-op, you are part of a collaborative effort that creates numerous positive impacts for our community, both near and far. Our co-op would not be successful without the support and involvement of our members, including those who shop here, round up at the register, bring reusable bags, serve on committees, and volunteer at events.

In appreciation of all our members and everything they do, we are having a Member Appreciation Weekend on March 29-31. Members can save 5% storewide* with an additional 5% off in the bulk department, while also taking advantage of our $6 off a $25 purchase of frozen foods member-only coupon.

Throughout the weekend, we will have product samples, raffles, and local vendors will be here to demo their products, including:

Sobremesa, on Friday, 3/29, from 11:15am – 2pm
Windstone Farm, on Friday, 3/29, from 3 – 6pm
Roots of Comfort on Saturday, 3/30, from 10:30am – 1:30pm
DeeLicious Raw on Saturday, 3/30, from 2 – 5pm

Not a member? Join here for only $15 and start saving!

The 5% Member Appreciation discount does not include wine, beer, Co-op branded merchandise, newspapers, magazines, equity payments, or gift cards. Other discounts, including Senior, Co-op Cares, Working Members, Council, and Staff, will be applied in addition to the 5% discount. All discounts will be automatically applied at the register.

  • June 3, 2019 5:30 PM - June 3, 2019 8:00 PM

Co-op members are invited to join the Council’s monthly meetings. The community meal begins at 5 pm, followed by the business meeting at 5:30 pm. The full agenda is available online. Please call 802.262.3202 or email to confirm your spot.

  • June 4, 2019 6:00 PM - June 4, 2019 7:00 PM

Please join us for a discussion of your Co-op’s bylaws and potential changes that are currently being considered. These forums are open to all and will be held in our upstairs community room, with elevator access available upon request.

The forums will take place on:

    Tuesday, June 4 from 6-7pm

    Saturday, June 8 from Noon-1pm

    Wednesday, June 12 from Noon-1pm

Light refreshments will be served. We will also make it possible to participate in the meeting without attending in person, using online meeting software. Look for more details on that in future announcements, or email us here.

The Co-op’s bylaws have not been updated in many years. A committee made up of council members and member-owners has been working on possible bylaw changes since last summer. In the forums, they will share their work, listen to your feedback, and answer any questions you might have. To review the work the committee has done so far, you can read the notes from all of their meetings here.

We will also post the draft bylaw revisions soon.

If you have any questions about these public discussions, please contact us at info@hungermountain.coop or 802-262-3202. Pre-registration is not required.

Thank you, and we hope to see you on one of the dates above.
