Co-op staff will be collecting personal care items to benefit the Montpelier Food Pantry.

High-need items include shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, tampons, sanitary pads, and diapers (all sizes, including adult diapers).

Products must be new and unopened. Donations will be collected in the exit way of the Co-op.

    It’s time to make space in your pantry and stock up during our Spring Truckload Case Sale! For this semiannual event, the Co-op purchases many of our popular products in large “truckload” quantities. The savings are passed on to our shoppers during a large three-day case sale under a tent in our parking lot and throughout the store.

    On Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 8am to 7pm and Sunday, June 2 from 8am to noon, save up to 65% when buying by the case! See the list of over 90 case sale items here.

    During Truckload weekend, shoppers will also receive a 5% discount in the bulk food and produce departments. Additionally, Co-op members will save $7 on $30 meat and fish purchases with their Member-Owner Coupon.

    Truckload Case Sale items are available by the case unless otherwise noted. Quantities are limited, and this sale is while supplies last. Prices do not include tax or deposits, and there are no substitutions or refunds. Sales are subject to change. There are no additional discounts available on items sold under the tent. Sale prices are for everyone, and all are welcome.

    Co-op members are invited to join the Council’s monthly meetings. The community meal begins at 5 pm, followed by the business meeting at 5:30 pm. The full agenda is available online. Please call 802.262.3202 or email to confirm your spot.

    Please join us for a discussion of your Co-op’s bylaws and potential changes that are currently being considered. These forums are open to all and will be held in our upstairs community room, with elevator access available upon request.

    The forums will take place on:

    Tuesday, June 4 from 6-7pm

    Saturday, June 8 from Noon-1pm

    Wednesday, June 12 from Noon-1pm

    Light refreshments will be served. We will also make it possible to participate in the meeting without attending in person, using online meeting software. Look for more details on that in future announcements, or email us here.

    The Co-op’s bylaws have not been updated in many years. A committee made up of council members and member-owners has been working on possible bylaw changes since last summer. In the forums, they will share their work, listen to your feedback, and answer any questions you might have. To review the work the committee has done so far, you can read the notes from all of their meetings here.

    We will also post the draft bylaw revisions soon.
