Workshop Presenters Wanted
We curate workshops as part of our co-op’s mission to educate the community, offering diverse learning opportunities while working to bring in knowledgeable, talented experts who can provide a range of learning experiences.
For April, our workshop program focuses on topics related to sustainability and environmental stewardship, as part of our month-long Earth Day celebration. Local nonprofits, including Vermont Land Trust, Rural Vermont, Community Harvest of Central Vermont, The Nature Conservancy and others, are presenting on a wide range of topics, from The American Elm to Composting Basics to Vermont’s Farming Heritage, and more. See the full calendar here.
We have recently completed scheduling workshops for May, which will include Mindfulness, Food for Spring Renewal, and Tackling Autoimmune Disease Naturally, among other topics, and are now scheduling for June and beyond.
We seek workshop presenters who can provide the kind of informative and educational workshops our community members are looking for within the topics of community hour/meet-up, community resources, expert lecture series, food/diet, sustainable living/green topics, special interest, tours/offsite adventures, vocational/life skills, and wellness Wednesdays.
We hope to continue offering a wide variety of opportunities covering a range of subject matter. And we are definitely open to new and different ideas. If you are interested in presenting a workshop at the Co-op, take a look at our application, which can be found here.
