    Kids Day

    10:00 AM-2:00 PM

    Hunger Mountain Co-op
    623 Stone Cutters Way

Join us for our annual summer Kids Day event on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 10 am – 2 pm, under the tent in our back parking lot.

The fun will include 30-minute performances by Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30, a solar-powered bouncy house courtesy of SunCommon, and amazing face painting by Face Mania. Kellogg-Hubbard Library, Good Beginnings of Central Vermont, and our co-op’s Green team will be hosting hands-on activities for kids of all ages. This is a free event, and all are welcome.

Also from 11-2, our featured vendor for August, All Souls Tortilleria, will be here with a demo of their product, in the center of our store. Check out our interview with them here.

Our Give Change recipient for the month, Central Vermont Humane Society, will be here as well, providing information about their many essential efforts. We will be matching all Give Change register round-up donations made to CVHS that day, so your spare change will have double the impact. You can opt into being asked to round up every time you check out using this form or by visiting customer service. In addition, there will be a food drive in support of CVHS and items may be dropped in the boxes in our exit way. Most needed items are canned pet food, including food for dogs, cats, and kittens.

In the store, there will be free samples, raffles, our Back to Basics case sale, and 5% savings on bulk food and produce purchases for everyone. Find out more and see the full list of case sale items here.
