Workshops & Events
See what's happening in your community
Hunger Mountain Co-op exists to create and sustain a vibrant community of healthy individuals, sustainable local food systems, and thriving cooperative commerce.
We host a variety of events, including product demos led by our demo coordinator and many of our local vendors, educational wine & cheese tastings, tabling with area nonprofits, Co-op council meetings, and more. Check out the calendar below for all the details.
Our Co-op also curates workshops as part of our mission to educate the community, offering diverse learning opportunities while holding presenters accountable for providing information that is informative and well-researched. Workshops are free unless otherwise noted and are typically held in our upstairs Community Room, with access to a freight elevator upon request. Space is limited and pre-registration is encouraged. To reserve a seat for any of our workshops, use the online registration form here, sign up on the bulletin board in our exit way, or call us at 802-262-3242.
If you have any questions or would like to suggest a topic/subject, a class or lecture, or an activity that you would be interested in or feel our community would like to attend, let us know here. If you are interested in possibly presenting or leading a workshop in the future, please review and submit the application found here.

Member Appreciation Weekend – Friday, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12
As a member-owner at Hunger Mountain Co-op, you are part of a collaborative effort that creates numerous positive impacts for our community. Our co-op would not be successful without the support and involvement of our members, including those who shop here, round up at the register, bring reusable bags, serve on committees, and volunteer at events.
In appreciation of all our members and everything they do, we are having a Member Appreciation celebration on Friday, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12.
- Members will save 5% on purchases, including case sale items but excluding alcohol, Co-op branded merchandise, newspapers, magazines, equity payments, and gift cards.
- Members can also save $5 on a $25 purchase in the produce department by presenting or requesting their member-owner coupon at the register. The total value of qualified items must be $25 or greater after all discounts.
- Regular shopping discounts will be automatically applied at the register in addition to the 5% Member Appreciation discount, including senior, Co-op Cares, working member, council, and staff.
Don’t miss our Snow Day Case Sale happening during Member Appreciation Weekend! Save up to 54% when buying by the case. This sale is for everyone. You don’t need to be a member to save. However, members enjoy 5% off sale prices. Quantities are limited, and sale is while supplies last.
Throughout the weekend, we will have product samples and raffles, including a $100 Co-op gift card, and local vendors will be at the Co-op to demo their products.
Not a member? Join here for only $15 and start saving! Still owe your equity payment? Make your $15 payment here.
