We’re excited to be renovating our front-end area (cash register area) and adding new registers. Our goals for this project include replacing aging equipment, improving customer flow, adding an additional lane, creating a new Customer Service Desk location, and replacing our drinking water station.
Register work and demolition will happen overnight. Construction will take place during the daytime and may be noisy. Our drinking water station will be closed from August 7 through 13 with the area tented off. During this time, our Customer Service Desk will be relocated. Safety Data Sheets that describe construction materials being used will be posted as necessary along with signage during the renovation. We will keep this blog updated with the latest information and impacts to your shopping experience.

Thursday, Aug. 17 Update
Registers are now in place, and the water station has been reopened. Due to the sink sitting lower, it is causing water to stay in the drain and will be replaced when the countertop comes in. Express lanes did not arrive, and we plan on reusing our existing units for now until we can determine next steps once we have more information.
Monday, Aug. 14 Update
Due to leaking pipes at the water station, this area is still closed temporarily.
Thursday, Aug. 10 Update
Sanding and painting of the water station in the exit way will take place and area has been tented off. Next steps: installation of counter and sink and demolition of the Front-End Office area.
