Hello Everyone, 

We have heard from our customers both in conversation and through our customer survey that affordability is a consideration for many when purchasing food, and often this determines where people will choose to spend their money. We recognize this need within our community and in response have restarted our Co+op Basics program. For those unfamiliar with it, this program highlights our everyday low-priced items; you can view our flyer. We have over 270 items across almost all categories with low prices that are comparable to mainstream grocery stores. You can identify these items by the purple Co+op Basics signs.  

We have other ways to stretch your grocery dollar, too. Our Co+op Deals, which are sales for everyone, change every two weeks. We have monthly member sales, and we have member discounts that run over a two-week period, changing monthly. Our buyers are always looking for ways to bring you the lowest prices possible. Our newest experiment to achieve this is to bundle related items for an extremely low price. If you haven’t seen it already, we are currently offering a Member Meal Deal: house-made pizza dough, Cabot shredded cheese, and Bianco DiNapoli pizza sauce at $6.99 for all three items. You can’t buy a pizza for that! It is our way of offering you an easy dinner option at an extremely affordable price. You can find these items together in our Grab and Go cooler.  

At a time when many are not only concerned about affordability but also consolidation and price gouging at the corporate grocery stores, shopping at Hunger Mountain Co-op offers a refreshing alternative. Hunger Mountain Co-op:
