Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Two in five Vermonters experience food insecurity. This holiday season, help provide healthy meals for our neighbors by joining the Co-op in collecting food and funds for the Vermont Foodbank and central Vermont food shelves.
Every November and December, Hunger Mountain Co-op and Northfield Savings Bank team up to provide healthy meals for our neighbors in need by hosting a food and fund drive benefiting the Vermont Foodbank. Help provide healthy meals for our neighbors by joining us in collecting food and funds this holiday season.
Hunger Mountain Co-op and Northfield Savings Bank donated $2,500 each to the Vermont Foodbank. We are challenging our Co-op community to raise another $2,500 by December 29.
If we can reach our community goal, Hunger Mountain Co-op, Northfield Savings Bank, Farrell Distributing, and Cabot Cooperative Creamery will all make matching $2,500 donations, raising $17,500 to help feed our central Vermont neighbors in need.
Ways You Can Help
- Ask to round up your purchase or donate any amount at the register.
- Members may opt-in to being asked to round up every time you shop.
- You can drop off non-perishable donations in the exit way through December 29. View our high needs item list.
