Central Vermont Humane Society, whose mission is to protect and advocate for animals in need and to build a humane community that promotes compassion and seeks to strengthen the human-animal bond, is our Give Change recipient through June 2. CVHS is entirely supported by individual donors, local businesses, fundraising events, grants, and small feeds for some services.

We also celebrated our pet friends in May by hosting pet food giveaways for a cat and a dog and a pet photo contest on Facebook from May 6 to May 10. Congratulations to Samantha and Mandy for winning our pet food giveaways through random drawing. Check out pet photos from our two giveaway winners and the top ten most-liked pet photo contest winners.
