About

The Strategic Planning Committee, with eight members drawn from the council, management, non-management staff, and member-owners, is leading a strategic planning process. In July 2026, we engaged Faye Mack Consulting to help develop and guide the process. The plan will be developed while listening to member-owners, staff, and our broader community, through a process that is transparent, thoughtful, comprehensive, and inclusive. Records of the process, and announcements of upcoming events, will be kept on this page.

Charter

The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee is to design and lead an open and inclusive process to develop a three- to five-year strategic plan aligned with the Co-op’s mission and ends. The plan will guide organizational priorities, resource allocation, and long-term direction, and will address physical plant requirements, staffing, potential new business directions, community collaborations, and effectuate additional duties as authorized by the council.

Planning for the Future

A strategic plan is a guide that will help the Co-op name where it wants to be in 3–5 years. It helps the council and staff prioritize and make decisions, as well as share its goals and decisions with members and the community. The Committee will be doing work (with other Co-op leaders) to gather all the input and information needed to map out the Co-op's goals and priorities.
