Q: Why do you keep running out of coffee most days in the deli? I don’t understand what has changed.

Q: Please offer smaller packs of sliced ham and turkey. A half pound is too much for some, leading to waste.
A: Will do! We currently offer a variety of weights for the sliced meats. Please ask for assistance if you don’t see what you are looking for. Vince, Food Services Manager
Q: Please bring back member work time. Thank you.
A: We are getting close to bringing back a version of this. Members will be able to earn a discount through volunteering with partner organizations. Stay tuned! We hope to launch it this spring. Rowan, Community Relations Manager
Q: The people bothering the shoppers in the parking lot is getting out of control. Someone walked up to my car and demanded I give them money! This is not good.
A: I am terribly sorry about this. Please don’t hesitate to alert us immediately so that we can respond and address the issue right away. We have increased our presence in the parking lot as a way to help resolve any concerns before they arise. Thank you for letting us know. Mary, General Manager
Q: The Indian-style deli food at the hot bar the week of Feb. 17 was super delicious. Thanks for the vegan food!

Q: I am curious why the deli consistently runs out of coffee? It is really frustrating. Didn’t you have coffee backups? That makes more sense.

Q: Each day I come in for a vegan BLT and each day there isn’t tomatoes. The entire reason I eat here is for a crunchy tomato with the amazing fake bacon. If it isn’t broken, why fix it?
A: In the winter months, we are using roasted tomatoes. They taste better. It is not tomato season and the sliced tomatoes taste like cardboard. Vince, Food Services Manager
Q: Hi! I come in form yummy soup at least once a week! I was wondering if you can bring back reusable bowls (non-disposable) for soup! Thanks!
A: I am not aware of this past practice. Currently we offer “Eco Containers” but that would not work for soup. Vince, Food Services Manager
Q: Recently the hot bar in the deli has had very few vegetarian options besides grilled veggies and potatoes. We used to have hot veggie Reubens and much more. What happened?
A: This week’s menu has the following vegetarian items:
- Achiote cauliflower
- Tropical beans
- Rice and green peas
- Chickpea ragout
- Sweet potatoes with all spice
- Ginger-garlic tofu
- Artichoke dip and crostini’s
