Since purchasing the property at 707 Stone Cutters Way, we have been working on several fronts to make use of the space in the short term. Since it has been vacant for over a year, we have encountered some unexpected hurdles to achieving our original intention of using it for staff parking and storage. We have developed a parking plan with the City of Montpelier. It now needs to go to the Development Review Board for approval. In the meantime, they have granted us temporary permission to use the lot for staff parking. We have had the lot swept of debris, installed exterior lighting, and prepped it for plowing this winter. As of Friday, December 5, staff have been parking there, and we are thrilled to see some movement toward our goals.

Additionally, we are in the process of updating the communication infrastructure, including installation of internet, phone, security, and alarm systems.

Lastly, we are getting quotes from contractors for the repair of the fire damage on the outside of the building.
