As a cooperative and a long-standing part of our community, we are deeply concerned by the fear, uncertainty, and harm that many people across our country are experiencing right now. Moments like these remind us why co-ops exist: to care for people, to support one another, and to strengthen the communities we serve.
Guided by our cooperative values of mutual support, dignity, and inclusion, we are committed to standing with all members of our community especially those whose livelihoods and well-being are closely tied to our local food system. In alignment with those values, we will be making a donation to Migrant Justice, an organization that supports farmworkers and the resilience of Vermont agriculture.
We are choosing to remain open so we can continue supporting our local farmers and producers and serve as a dependable resource for our neighbors. Every day, we strive to ensure our store is a place where members, customers, staff, and community members feel welcome, safe, and respected.
We are grateful for the care and thoughtfulness our community shows one another, especially during challenging times, and we remain focused on strengthening our local food system with compassion and cooperation at the center of our work.
