The Co-op supports organizations that align with our mission through our Give Change register round up program, which allows shoppers to donate to a community organization by rounding up their register total to the nearest dollar and giving the difference to the Co-op’s featured Give Change program partner. The length of engagement for most partnerships is roughly one month, and typical donation totals currently range from approximately $1,000–$2,000. While the Co-op will do its part to promote and encourage donations, the amount raised depends almost entirely on the generosity of our customers!
We consider applications from organizations and community groups on a rolling basis that meet one or more of the following criteria: Provide a service or benefit to our community, focus on the environment, work toward a sustainable local food system or are food-related, promote community health and/or fitness, advance community arts or community enrichment of any kind, support cooperatives. The Co-op will not consider applications from political groups, donations to specific individuals, or third-party fundraisers.
