Meet our Give Change partner for the month of April! Central Vermont Adult Education will be in store from 11am-2pm to introduce you to their organization and answer your questions. CVAE is also a Member Volunteer Partner! When you volunteer with CVAE, you can earn a 6% discount here at the Co-op.

Our mission is to provide free adult education and literacy services to adults and out-of-school youth age 16+ in Central Vermont, and to engage the entire CVAE community in the pursuit of our students’ efforts. We partner with our students to help them gain the assets that lead to success and help them Get Ahead in their education and career goals.

The goal of our ongoing programs is to provide free and individualized educational services to adults in our service area, affording students the opportunity to gain the skills necessary for better involvement in community, family, career growth and post-secondary education. An educated citizenry strengthens our communities, improves lives, maximizes potential, and breaks the cycles of generational poverty that result from low literacy.
