Hello! My name is Julia, and I am the co-founder and Vice President of a community-based non-profit organization called Sosyete pou Rebwaze Duchity, Haiti (Society for the Reforestation of Duchity, Haiti;

SRDH). I will be tabling for SRDH outside of Hunger Mountain Coop a few days over the course of the summer!

A little about SRDH:

SRDH operates in the Duchity, Haiti region and implements accessible reforestation, agroforestry, education, and capacity building programs in partnership with community, farmers, and other groups in and around Duchity. Through the provision of education, training,

materials, and support, SRDH facilitates a space to build resilient communities, agricultural lands, and forest ecosystems. Since our start in 2020, we have planted three community forests, fostered ongoing partnerships with 10 local farmers on agroforestry

projects, began a women’s empowerment program in collaboration with the Trees that Feed Foundation, held multiple workshops and educational events each year, and planted over 16,000 seedlings. To learn more, here is a link to our website: https://www.srdhaiti.org/

What I will have:

I will have some information on SRDH and business cards for those interested. Additionally, I make linoleum block prints for donation – 100% of the proceeds from my art goes to SRDH. This year, I will also have tank tops, t-shirts, and tote bags made by a friend
