Volunteer Opportunities with Rural Vermont

Rural Vermont’s mission is to organize, educate, and advocate in collaboration with local and global movements to strengthen the social, ecological, and economic health of the agrarian communities that connect us all.

Volunteering Summary

Varying on seasons and need, Rural Vermont needs help with the following tasks:

  • Participate in “farm brigades” to help local farms carry out discrete projects requiring many hands
  • Provide support at events (setup, greet attendees, manage food, take photos, etc.)
  • Data entry and other simple computer and office tasks
  • Cook or bake for events
  • Make art and merchandise: Block print notecards, screenprint tees, paint totes, etc.
