January Neighbors Helping Neighbors Update

This year’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food and Fund Drive, co-hosted by Hunger Mountain Co-op and Northfield Savings Bank, raised $17,123 and collected nearly 1,000 pounds of food for the Vermont Foodbank and central Vermont food shelves. In the three-year history of this campaign, our co-op community has raised $56,874 and collected nearly 3,500 pounds of food. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this important initiative, including our community partner, Farrell Distributing.

December Neighbors Helping Neighbors Update

At the start of November, our co-op and Northfield Savings Bank each donated $2,500 to the Vermont Foodbank and challenged our co-op community to raise another $2,500 by December 31.

We are excited to announce that Co-op shoppers pushed us over that goal and unlocked matching funds from Hunger Mountain Co-op, Northfield Savings Bank, and Farrell Distributing!

With an additional donation from friends at Cabot Creamery, this collective effort has raised over $16,200 for the Vermont Foodbank, with more than two weeks left in the campaign. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far!
