The Hunger Mountain Co-op Council is responsible for communicating with member-owners, overseeing the general manager, and establishing policies, among other governance functions.

This year, six members ran for four open seats. Voting concluded at 8 pm on November 27, and the results are in!

Congratulations to the newly elected members:

Erich Zeichner (20% of the vote & 3-year term)
Elizabeth Jesdale (19% of the vote & 3-year term)
Carl Etnier (19% of the vote & 3-year term)
Catherine Lowther (17% of the vote & 2-year term)

Thank you to our other Council Candidates:

Steven Farnham (16% of the vote)
Kristian Connolly (9% of the vote)

We’re pleased to share that this year witnessed increased participation, with 683 ballots cast and a total of 2,339 votes. We appreciate the commitment and dedication shown by all candidates. Special thanks to every member who took the time to cast their votes. Together, we shape the path forward for Hunger Mountain Co-op, and your support is invaluable.

The first meeting with the new Council is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, at 5:30 pm. We extend our gratitude to our outgoing Council members and welcome the contributions of our returning and newly elected members.
