What is your role at the Co-op?  

I am an Assistant Buyer in the Wellness Department as well as a sub in Bulk and Receiving. 

How long have you worked at the Co-op?  

6.5 years

What do you most enjoy about your work?  

Teamwork, with my high quality & diverse coworkers.

What drew you to work at the Co-op?  

The quality and variety of products and the effort of the Co-op to encourage the local economy. 

What are you most proud of in your work?  

My team spirit & client service: I like humans. 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?  

Still part time at the Co-op and my business, Sparkle d’Amour, which makes up-cycled leather jewelry, diversifying with lamp fixtures, frames, glass urns and reliquary!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?  

Besides enjoying the company of my fantastic husband, creating, making, hiking, riding my motorcycle, gardening and watching foreign movies.

What other jobs have you held?  

Glass sculpture artist, custom lamp fixture maker (house size and casino and airport size too), restoration of non-ferrous metal, workshop organizer and maker for a top-quality international spice importer. and I also made props and created special effects and worked with kids in pre-school. I would say I have a well-rounded resume and broad field of interest. I need to learn, and I like to work with quality.
