Krin’s Bakery
Learn about our February Featured Vendor, Krin’s Bakery.
Krin Barberi started Krin’s Bakery in 2005 to celebrate her passions for baking and building community. Krin, with her baking and culinary background, participated in a small business program for women and baked from her commercial home kitchen in Huntington, VT, for years, selling her baked goods at farmers’ markets. Now, 20 years later, Krin’s bakery is in a new production kitchen that she and her husband designed, and she has grown her business to supply her baked goods to over 60 locations in northern New England.
Krin’s Bakery makes delicious cookies, cupcakes, and other treats using time-honored recipes and simple, fresh ingredients. Krin’s Bakery products are the treats you love and remember—chocolate cupcakes with a thick frosting; chewy cookies in classic flavors and festive shapes; classic Italian biscotti and moist chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons, baked by a crew of skilled bakers, using thoughtfully-sourced ingredients from neighboring farms, orchards and businesses.
The bakery prides itself on being a joyful work environment while making every day sweeter for neighbors and customers. Krin’s focus is on providing customers with goods baked with real, clean ingredients, adding that her employees, the people who show up to make the business happen, are her most important assets. Krin’s goal for the bakery’s future is to continue growing the business by selling to more New England stores and co-ops.
