How to Apply

You must be a Co-op member to apply for the Co-op Cares discount. It is $15 to join and you may be eligible for a grant to help with your payment. Inquire by emailing us.
We are temporarily extending Co-op Cares eligibility to those who have filed an insurance claim or are receiving FEMA assistance due to the recent area floods. Proof of claim or assistance is required.
Fill out and submit your form.
Bring in your proof of eligibility on the next weekday that you shop at the Co-op.
Once approved, you will begin receiving a 10 percent discount on your purchases for up to two years.

About the Co-op Cares Discount

Once approved, you will be reminded about your discount end date a month before it ends. If you are still eligible at the end of your Co-op Cares term, you may reapply. If your proof of eligibility hasn’t expired, we will automatically renew your discount and send a notice of renewal.
The Co-op Cares discount may not be combined with any other member or employee discounts such as council, working member, work optional, staff, or senior discount.
The discount may not be used to buy alcohol, stamps, newspapers, Co-op branded merchandise, gift cards, magazines, or to make equity payments.

Receive a 10% Discount on Your Purchases

Members receive a 10% discount on every purchase when they receive 3SquaresVT benefits, supplemental security income (SSI), participate in the WIC or Health Care Share program, receive unemployment or VA disability, have refugee status, or are working with one of the Co-op’s verified community partners.
