The Co-op supports good work happening in our community through our donation and sponsorship programs. We consider donation and sponsorship requests from organizations and community groups that strive to enrich our community in alignment with our mission. Preference is given to projects that focus on the environment, sustainability, local and organic food, food security, community health and well-being, and supporting other cooperatives. The Co-op will not consider donation and sponsorship requests from political groups, requests for the same event/cause submitted by multiple people, requests within the same year for the same event, and third-party fundraisers.
When reviewing requests, we consider the relevance of your project or event to our mission, and the number of requests in relation to the donation and sponsorship budget. We will review all requests and respond within two weeks of receipt. First-time requests will be considered ahead of organizations that have applied in the last 12 months. Requests for specific individuals will be reviewed, however preference is given to organizations or fundraising events. We cannot always fulfill requests and reserve the right to decline a request at any time.
