What If Healthcare and Community Worked for Everyone?

Have you ever felt like you didn’t fit — like the world was built for someone else?
Mainstream society tends to offer one narrow lane to go down. And if that lane doesn’t work for you — if you need something different — you’re often told, directly or indirectly, that you’re the problem. That you’re doing life wrong.
But there is no wrong way to be a person. You can’t be wrong for how you think, feel, move, or connect. You can be told you’re wrong so many times that you start to believe it. You stop trying. You give up asking for support — because you’ve been shoved into containers that were never built for you.
At All Brains Belong, we’re working to build something different: a world where everyone gets to be who they are, and where healthcare and community actually support people in living full, connected lives.
Belonging Is a Foundation of Health
Social isolation is one of the greatest threats to health.
That’s why we focus on connection — not just care. At All Brains Belong, patients learn about their health alongside others, building relationships and discovering that they are not alone.
Free Community Programs for All Ages
In addition to healthcare services, All Brains Belong offers free community programs designed to foster connection:
- Kid Connections, a friend-matching program for kids and teens who face barriers to making social connections
- Brain ClubⓇ, a weekly by-donation community education program about neurodiversity in everyday life
When we design spaces to include all kinds of bodies and brains, we create stronger, healthier communities for everyone.
Meeting Urgent Needs Through the Community Health & Access Fund
Thanks to Hunger Mountain Co-op’s Giving Change program, we’re expanding our Community Health & Access Fund — a grassroots project that addresses urgent gaps in basic needs.
This initiative provides:
- Over-the-counter medications for patients who can’t afford them
- Groceries, medical supplies, and transportation assistance
- Subsidized medical appointments for uninsured and underinsured patients
In a time when so many are struggling to access essentials, community-driven mutual aid is making a real difference.
Thank You for Helping Build a More Connected Future
We are honored to serve neurodivergent Vermonters of all ages, and to be part of a movement toward a more inclusive, connected future.
Thank you, Hunger Mountain Co-op shoppers, for rounding up at the register to support this work. Together, we are creating a community where no one is left out — and where belonging is recognized as a foundation of health.
