Year-End Wrap
View our fiscal year 2025 Impact.
As we approach the end of the year, it is a great opportunity to reflect on how it has gone. How did we strive to meet our mission? What worked and what did not? Our shopper survey will be coming out in February, and we look forward to your feedback on how we did, both in the store and what you would like to see for our future. As we look to the coming year, we are getting ready to embark on a strategic planning process. Please continue to share your thoughts on what the future of our co-op should hold. Over the past year, we heard a resounding request for more customer parking, along with many suggestions to expand the store. What ideas do you have?
Our 2025 Impact Report is now available and provides a glimpse into the many ways we work to achieve our mission. A few that stand out to me are: $95,000 given in donations and sponsorships, the majority of which went to support food security in our community. We have 429 Vermont vendors and had $10.4 million in local product sales. We have just under 200 employees, with 34 who have worked at the Co-op for 10 years or more. And lastly, one thing you won’t see in the report but deserves mention for a year in review is the purchase of the property next door and the new opportunities this brings for the Co-op’s future.
There is much to be thankful for. I want to extend gratitude to our community for the many ways you have supported us over the past year—best wishes for a warm and nourishing holiday season.
